Fresh Oregon truffles in season, plus the tools and gifts to share them year-round

Harvested to Order

Fresh truffles follow the season, so what's in stock changes week to week. The best way to buy is to tell us what you need. Reach out with the amount and timing, and the dogs will go out and harvest your order fresh.

Keep Them Alive, Keep Them Fragrant

A truffle is all about aroma, and a living truffle keeps making more of it. Your job is simple: keep it alive, breathing, and dry.

  • Use a glass or plastic container with plenty of air space inside.
  • Line the bottom with paper towels to wick away condensation.
  • Arrange truffles in a single layer, not touching each other.
  • Air out the container once or twice a day for fresh oxygen.
  • Blot the truffles dry daily and swap the paper towels the moment they feel damp.
  • For black truffles, sniff out any bad spots and trim them with a paring knife until the smell is sweet again.
  • When a truffle starts to sweat and soften, it's telling you something: cook with it now.
