Oregon Truffle Company LLC – Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: October 5, 2026

Welcome to the website of Oregon Truffle Company LLC ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). By booking a tour, accessing our website, or participating in our guided foraging experiences in Lane County, Oregon, you ("Guest", "Participant", or "you") agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before completing your booking.

  1. Harvest Guarantee and Refund Structure

Oregon Truffle Company LLC stands behind our harvest guarantee. In the highly unlikely event that zero (0) truffles are found by our guides or trained dogs during your excursion, all participants on that specific tour will be issued a full 100% refund of their ticket price.

Each paid ticket holder is entitled to take home a portion of the day’s harvest, up to a maximum of one (1) ounce per person. However, because natural yields vary, refunds, partial refunds, or price adjustments will not be issued if truffles are successfully found but the total volume is insufficient to grant every individual guest a full one-ounce allotment. Any remaining truffles found during the tour are retained by Oregon Truffle Company LLC for corporate use. Additional fresh truffles may be available for purchase at the conclusion of the tour, subject to seasonal availability and market pricing.

  1. Inclement Weather and Cancellation Policy

Our guided foraging tours take place outdoors in managed timberlands and rural environments. Tours operate rain or shine, and guests are expected to dress appropriately for cold, damp winter conditions. Tours will not be cancelled due to standard seasonal rain or light snow.

Oregon Truffle Company LLC reserves the sole right to cancel a tour in the event of severe, hazardous weather conditions, including but not limited to high winds creating a danger of falling branches, torrential or flooding rains, or heavy snow accumulation that compromises road safety. If Oregon Truffle Company LLC cancels a tour due to hazardous weather, guests will be offered the choice of a full refund or a complimentary transfer to a rescheduled date, subject to availability.

  1. Strict Canine and Outside Animal Policy

For the safety of our working animals and the biological integrity of the truffière, guests are strictly prohibited from bringing dogs or other pets on the tour. Exceptions are made solely for service animals as defined by law, or in rare instances where a guest has received an explicit, formal written invitation from Oregon Truffle Company LLC prior to the event date. Unauthorized animals brought to a tour site will result in immediate tour forfeiture without a refund.

  1. Oregon Agritourism Statutory Liability Waiver

WARNING: Under Oregon law, an agritourism professional is not liable for an injury to or the death of a participant in an agritourism activity resulting from the inherent risks of the agritourism activity. Inherent risks of agritourism activities include, among others, risks of injury inherent to land, equipment, and animals, as well as the potential for injury if you fail to follow instructions. You are assuming the risk of participating in this agritourism activity (ORS 30.671).

  1. Media Consent and Release

By checking the opt-in box during the registration or booking process, you grant Oregon Truffle Company LLC and its legal representatives the irrevocable, worldwide right and permission to use, publish, modify, and distribute photographs, video recordings, or audio captured of you during the tour. This media may be utilized for any lawful purpose, including but not limited to promotional materials, social media, website content, and advertising, without further compensation or prior review. Oregon Truffle Company LLC explicitly agrees not to capture or utilize identifiable media of any guest who has not provided prior, explicit consent via our booking platform or a written sign-in sheet on the day of the event.
